Saturday 11pmErin, Tyler and Dan had fun playing in the snow on Saturday morning. It was perfect powder snow. They went out at 9:30am and it was already knee deep. Almost everything out here closed. Stores, Malls, no mail, etc... Even the City of Alexandria was closed. I am not sure what it means when a city is closed. I guess no visitors. On Sunday the road were pretty bad church was canceled. Good thing because we have church at 9am and it took almost 2hrs to shovel our cars out! It is neat to see how people help each other when it is like this. Neighbors were helping neighbors shovel out and some older boys down the street were coming around asking if they could help people.
It looks like we will wake up to a white Christmas. By the time we go to bed though it might all be gone. We are supposed to get light snow, then sleet, and then rain by the end of Christmas day. This will be the first white Christmas we have been here for. We can't believe that this will be our 4th Christmas we have stayed here!

Absolutely awesome pictures and snow. Makes it look like here in St. George, UT we are having a heat wave. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and the best of New Years!
