We had a nice Christmas. Erin woke up just before 7am but was nice and waited until almost 8am before we let her wake up Tyler. Santa brought Erin books, a pillow like chair, and a night stand (easy request this year). Santa brought Tyler trains, and race cars w/track (not so easy to put together & all requiring battery request). Dan got Guitar Hero World Tour and I got bathroom fixtures, lights and faucets (I want to update our master bathroom). It was a nice day, not a white Christmas like out West. Erin was sad about that. We did have a snow flurry during the day on the 31st and Tyler thought that meant it was Christmas. Erin and Tyler ran around outside jumping up and down because they were so excited. The flurry didn't last long and nothing stayed. No complaints from me that just a snow flurry can satisfy them.
For New Year's we didn't do much. Watched a movie and Dan and Erin put a puzzle together. Dan was on call for most of the holiday break so we couldn't go to far. When he is on call if we go anywhere he always seems to get paged and we have to go home so he can work on the problem. We have learned just to stay home so he won't get paged.
Dan, Erin, & Tyler are ice skating right now and they took the camera so I will have to post pictures from Christmas later.
No news from us about the baby. Last night I had contractions pretty close together,7min apart, for most of the night. After 4am I finally got to sleep and when I woke up they were not as frequent. I had called my doctor last night and she thought that I would probably have him sometime today but as of right now no luck and no more contractions.
