John Deere and the Friendly Witch
Erin and Tyler had a great time. Dan took them around and I stayed and gave out the candy. Since townhouses are connected it doesn't take very long to get ALOT of candy. Erin came back with 7lbs and Tyler with 5lbs (Erin still had her cany from Trunk or Treat in her bag). We weighed their bags because a dentist by us will give $1/lb of candy you bring in and that candy they send out to the troops. I had Erin and Tyler each choose some to give away. Erin and Tyler were really good about it. I am not sure if Tyler understands exactly what we are doing but Erin thought it was pretty neat that this candy is going to the troops and to some kids who didn't get to go trick or treating. Today we are going to take that in along with the left over candy we had that we were giving out.

Cute costumes!! Good idea to give away candy. Hopefully the amount of candy my kids ate won't lead to bad news at the dentist next week. I finally put all the candy up. I was sick of the wrappers.
Did you make that John Deere costume?! Crafty! The kids look so cute.
