Lost First Tooth

Erin finally lost her first tooth last week. For two day it was almost hanging there. On Wednesday morning while she was brushing her teeth I could see that all she had to to was just give it a little tug and it would fall out. She said she pulled at it but it wouldn't come out so I had her twist it and then pull. She twisted it all the way around and then it fell out. She was so excited! She would get to have her name put on the wall with the others who have lost teeth. What a special week for her she was also the Star Student of the week. Each week someone in her class is the Star Student and they bring in a poster about them with a time line. When Erin showed the class her poster on Tuesday the last picture was a picture of her showing her loose tooth. I guess that now needs already needs to be updated.
Wednesday night Erin asked me if I was the Tooth Fairy. I asked her why and she said "because I don't want you to use your own money to give me from the tooth fairy." Thursday morning she woke up and was so excited to find the Tooth Fairy had come. Awhile later she realized that it wasn't as much as one of her friends got on Monday. Before I could think of a reason why everyone doesn't get the same amount she came running back into my room and told me that she found 8 more quarters under her pillow! Where those came from I am not sure. Maybe there really is a Tooth Fairy..
