Summer has flown by!!

I can't believe that summer is already over!! Erin goes back to school in one week! My goal of being better about posting a blog more often I guess isn't working. Anyway there are a lot of you who are just finding out that I have a blog so maybe that will help me....
Sorry to those we didn't get to see when we came to visit Utah and Idaho last month. We were so busy the whole time we were there and we were so happy that we got to see those that we did. We had a great time. We have so many pictures. I will try and get a scrapbook done soon.
We are still liking it here in Virginia but after visiting family and friends in Utah and Idaho we know we will move back some day. Dan went and checked IMFT (that is Micron and Intel) in Lehi. He just went to see what it was like he said that it looked pretty nice. I must admit that I also have looked at houses for sale online and found some areas that I have liked. But right now we still feel like we want to be here. With how expensive things are getting maybe sooner than later but also with real estate not doing very well out here maybe it will be later than sooner....
For those that we didn't get to see while we were visiting we are excited to announce that we are expecting #3 in January! We found out last week that we will be having a boy! Everything is looking good. We haven't agreed on any names yet.
Erin is going into 1st grade! She is really excited. I still can't believe that she is already old enough to be in school. This summer she took swimming lessons and she did really well. I had originally sighned her up for the beginner beginner, Mini Sea Pups, class. The teacher called me and recommended the next class up, Sea Pups, because of her age. I was worried but after the second day she was moved up to the highest level with the Sea Pups. She loved swimming and did pretty well but she still isn't totally comfortable yet so I think I will keep her in Sea Pups. I don't think she is quite ready to be a Sea Lion, that is the swimming team. Next year Tyler will be old enough to be a Mini Sea Pup, he will LOVE it. He has no fears in the water.
I am proud to say that Tyler is potty trained! We had such a hard time with Erin that I just kept putting it off. Two weeks ago I decided I was going to do it cold turkey. For two days we had accidents and changed underware many times but by day three he was doing great! He was SO much easier than Erin. He is funny, he loves that he can go. The first few days after he started keeping his underware dry he went to the bathroom all the time. He is not a dancer like Erin when he needs to go. I will be doing a pre-school co-op with him this year. I was maybe going to put him in just a normal pre-school class but he just doesn't seem ready. Maybe after the baby comes I will put him in one. He is very happy most of the time and very social. I can't believe that he is already 3.
I am going to now see if I can figure out how to do a slide show so you can see some things we have been up to etc...
