Miss Maine 2010

A friend of mine had a Miss America Pageant last night. I was a lobster for Miss Maine. Thank you, thank you, I made the whole costume, including the jewelry (pipe cleaner). Thanks Martha Stewart! There were a lot of fun costumes. Miss Idaho was Mrs Potato Head, Miss West Virginia was a coal miner, she even painted some of her teeth black, Miss Utah was a pioneer, Miss Washington DC was George Washington, she did her hair like his, Miss Florida was Uncle Sam and said that they were still counting votes, Miss New York was Lady Gaga. Some came in really pretty evening gowns, including Miss Mississippi in her PJ's, nightgown. Miss South Carolina wore a swim suit, it was painted on her shirt. There were also a lot of cowgirls. Miss Wyoming brought along some root"beer" in bottles. I wish I would have taken my camera.
