coupon mom in training

I have heard so many people talk about saving tons of money using coupons. I am trying to do that but still don't feel like I am saving tons. How do people go grocery shopping and have their total come to less than $10 or even $0 after all of their coupons?

Other things going on. Dan is almost done with his first semester of classes!! For his hardest and least favorite class they just have to write an essay about how they think they can use what they learned in class with their current jobs. I think Dan is happy that their would be a test. For his easier class they will be having a final but he isn't to worried about it. For the summer he will have one class twice a week so it will just be from the end of June to the end of July. Erin had her dance recital on Saturday and she loved being on stage! She can't wait until next year! Tyler is loving that the weather is getting warmer so he can go outside and ride his bike or scooter or go outside and blow bubbles, or go outside and go to the park or go outside and just run around. Ryan is growing fast. He now weighs 17lbs & is 26 1/2 inches. He is big and long. He still loves to squeal and has become quite a spit upper, yuck!! He figured out how to roll over so now he will roll over back and forth.

Our ward split again. We have now been in 3 different wards, and two different Stakes in the same house only 4 years. Our ward was getting really big so we knew it was going to happen sometime but when they announce the split everyone was surprised. Our neighborhood and two others were the only ones moved. We got put into the ward that we already knew a lot of the people because we were in the same ward with some of them before the last split. It is weird that Dan and I don't have any callings now. That probably won't be very long, but Dan isn't sure what to do with himself now that he is out of the Elders Quorum Presidency and will be done with school this week.

One last thing going on. We are now dryerless. It think it is true that appliances last about 10-15yrs. Our oven stopped working in October and now our dryer. The belt in the dryer broke so we think we can fix that. What will be next??

I think it's great what you are attempting to do!! I'm trying to use more coupons. I also learned that you spend less $$ at the grocery store if you buy only what you need at the time (not shop for 2 weeks of groceries). Which means an almost daily grocery visit, and that's prolly a pain with 3 little ones! Thanks for all the emails you send me!!

Ryan is getting so big!! He's 2 pounds bigger than Luke! Wow!! And he can roll already??!?! Luke rolls to his side, but he doesn't roll all the way over. I look forward to when these 2 little guys can meet!! I'm sure they'll be such good friends!

xoxo!
