The Ricks Family

Wow it has been a month since I have written. We have been busy doing the same old stuff. School, work and play! I can't believe that school is almost out! For Erin, Tyler and Dan (for a few weeks). Dan will be taking another class in the summer but he says it shouldn't be to hard. We were lucky during the beginning of April to have Dan's parents and his brother Tom come and visit. While they were here we all went to Ohio for Mary's baptism and Easter. We had a great time with everyone. While his parents and brother were here we kept busy trying to cram everything in to the short time they were here. I am not sure why we do that. We plan so many things like this is the only time they will be here. We need to start just planning one thing a day and also have some rest time.
Ryan is getting bigger. He is now in some 6-9month size clothes! Who did this boy come from? I started to feed him cereal last week because he always seemed to be hungry. He seems to like it so far. The spit up and poopy diapers aren't the best though. He is starting to "talk" and laugh. He is a very happy baby and loves to talk to you. I was sorting pictures to save on to a disk when I saw a picture of Tyler that looked like Ryan. I put the same shirt on Ryan and had him doing the same things at Tyler was doing here they are side by side. Side by side you can see differences example- rounder face! They are going to be such great brothers.


I meant to post earlier this month some photos of when we were in Italy. The place where they had the earthquake, L'aquila, is where our church branch was. That was about 45 min away from where we lived, Avazzano. This is a picture of some of the people in the branch from what I have read the building that our branch met in had some damage, but not serious. Two of the families homes were destroyed but none of the members or missionaries were hurt. The other picture is of Erin standing in front of a pretty church building there. I wonder if that is still standing.








Erin was almost two in this picture! I can't belive that she will be 7 this year. She is such a great big sister and daughter.

Off to pick up Erin from school now!
